How to Add App Shortcuts to Fingerprint on OnePlus 8T

Here’s how to turn on quick launch on OnePlus 8T. You can use quick launch in OnePlus 8T to add app shortcuts or quickly launch apps using a fingerprint sensor when you’re device is locked. After enabling quick launch, long-press the fingerprint identification is to launch quick pay or activate apps in your locked OnePlus 8T Oxygen OS.

Step 1: Pull down the notification tray at the top and touch on the “Settings gear (Cog)” icon.

Step 2: Scroll and touch on “Utilities”.

Step 3: Touch on “Quick launch”.

Step 4: Toggle on “Turn on Quick Launch”.

How to Access Quick Launch on your OnePlus 8T

Step 1: Lock your OnePlus 8T.

Step 2: Touch & hold the fingerprint scanner even unlock your phone to open the quick launch panel.

Step 3: Swipe to select the shortcut and release your finger to launch it.
