How to Change the Language on Huawei P40 Pro

Here’s how to change the language on Huawei P40, P40 Lite, P40 Pro+, and P40 Pro. You can add multiple languages from the list and quickly switch languages on Huawei P40 and Mate 40 series. By default set phone language as per your region (Country). When you change the default language, you can see change language on system settings, quick settings tiles (Notification shade), etc. Also, change keyboard language in Huawei P40 Pro/P40 Pro Plus/Mate 40 Pro/Mate 40 device.

How to Change Language in Huawei P40 Pro Plus/P40 Pro/P40

 

Step 1: Pull down the notification tray with two fingers and touch the “Settings gear (Cog)” icon.

Step 2: Scroll down and touch “System & updates”.

Step 3: Touch “Language & input”.

Step 4: Touch “Language and region”.

Here, you can add a new language and change the region if you want.

Step 5: Touch “Add language”.

Step 6: Select the “Language” from the list.

Step 7: Long press the language and move it to the top to set the default phone language.

How to Remove Language from Huawei P40/P40 Pro/P40 Pro+

Step 1: Follow the above given “Steps 1 to 4”.

Step 2: Touch “Three vertical dots” at the upper right corner.

Step 3: Click on “Remove”.

Step 4: Select the languages and click on the “Trash” icon to delete them.

Step 1: Go to “Settings”.

Step 5: Click on “Language”.

Step 6: Select the “Language” you want to set.

Also, quickly switch keyboard language on Huawei to long-press on the space bar and swipe left or right to change the keyboard language.
