How to Enable Caller ID and Spam Protection in Pixel 4a
Here’s how to enable caller ID and spam protection in Google Pixel 4a and Pixel 5. You can use caller ID & spam protection feature to identify callers and block spam calls when you make or receive a call in your Pixels. Pixel 4a caller ID & spam settings include see caller & spam ID, filter spam calls, and verified call options. Just toggle on all settings to reduce suspected spam calls in your Google Pixel 4a. You can show or hide your phone number in outgoing calls in your Pixels.
How to Activate and Use Caller ID and Spam Protection on Google Pixel 4a (5G)
Step 1: Open the “Phone app” in your Pixels.
Step 2: Touch “Three vertical dots” at the top right.
Step 3: Touch “Settings”.
Step 4: Scroll and click on “Caller ID & spam”.
Step 5: Toggle on “See caller and spam ID”. Also, toggle on for “Filter spam calls” and “Verified calls” options.
When you disable caller and spam ID, it will atomically disable the filter spam calls in your Pixels.

You can show or hide your number from other people using the below settings.
Step 1: Open the “Phone app”.
Step 2: Click on “Three vertical dots” at the upper right side.
Step 3: Tap on “Settings”.
Step 4: Tap “Calls”.
Step 5: Tap “Additional settings”.
Step 6: Tap “Caller ID”.
Step 7: Choose “Hide Number”. The other two options are Network default and show number.
How to Block a Number on Google Pixel 4a
You won’t get phone calls or text messages from these blocked numbers on your device. Also, enable unknown toggle to block calls from unidentified callers in your stock Android OS.
Open the Phone app > Three vertical dots at the top right side > Settings > Blocked numbers > Add a number > Enter the phone number > Block

cannot fix caller id on pixel 4a 5G. there is no additional settings under call settings.
