How to Lock Apps on Huawei P40 Pro Plus/P40 Pro

Step 1: Open the app drawer and touch the “Settings app”.

Step 2: Scroll down and touch on “Security”.

Step 3: Touch on “App lock”.

Step 4: Enter the lock screen Pin or Password to access the app lock.

Step 5: Toggle on the “App” button to keep them private.

When you opening a locked app, you’ll need to verify the PIN or biometric security you set.

Note: if you’re using face recognition, you’ll be asked to verify your identity again if the phone detects that the user has changed.

Step 6: Open the app drawer and touch the app you have locked.

Step 5: Toggle on “Password vault”.
