How to Set Up Face Recognition in Huawei P40 Pro
Here’s how to set up face recognition in Huawei P40 Pro/P40 Pro Plus/Mate 40 Pro. You can use face recognition (Face Unlock) to unlock your device or open locked apps. Also, add an alternate look for more accurate and convenient face recognition. If you have enabled privatespace on or added multiple users to your phone, you can use face unlock only in Mainspace or with the owner account. You can enable or disable keep the screen on while looking if you don’t want to turn off the screen.
How to Set Up Face Unlock Huawei P40 Pro+/P40 Pro
Step 1: Pull down the notification tray at the top and touch on the “Settings gear” icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on “Biometrics & password”.
Step 3: Click on “Face recognition”.
Step 4: Now type your lock screen password, pin, or pattern.
Now make sure that your phone camera and your face both are clean.
Step 5: Now tap on “Get started”.
Step 6: Hold the device in front of your face. Make sure your face stays fully in frame.
You can see the setup complete when finishing the process.
Step 7: Lock your phone and view it on the screen and slide to unlock it.
If you don’t want to use this feature you can disable it temporarily.
