How to Turn On Split Screen Mode on OnePlus 8T

Here’s how to activate or turn on split screen mode on OnePlus 8T. You can use split screen to access two apps at the same time like show YouTube videos by surfing Chrome or chat on WhatsApp & watch YouTube or other movies etc. Not all apps supported split-screen view or multi-window mode. Also, use the parallel apps feature in your OnePlus to use two different accounts of the same app on your Smartphone like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.

How to Activate Split Screen in OnePlus 8T

Check out below given two ways to enable split-screen mode in OnePlus 8T.

Step 1: Open the “Recent apps” in your OnePlus 8T.

Step 2: Long press on the app you want to use split-screen and click on “Split screen”.

Note: If you can’t found the Split screen option, it means the app doesn’t support this feature.

Step 3: Now, app set in the upper half of your OnePlus.

Step 4: Touch the “App” from the bottom list of apps.

You can see one app in the upper half of the screen and another app at the bottom of the screen.

How to Exit or Close Split Screen Mode in OnePlus 8T Oxygen OS

Touch and hold the middle of the screen and swipe up or down to exit split-screen view.

How to Enable Split Screen View on OnePlus 8T Using Buttons & Gestures Settings

Step 1: Swipe up to open the app drawer and touch on “Settings app”.

Step 2: Touch “Buttons & gestures”.

Step 3: Touch “Navigation bar & gestures”.

Step 4: Make sure to select “Back, Home, Recents” in the choose navigation bar section.

Step 5: Touch on “Navigation bar customization” under the custom settings.

Now, see the home, back, recents button settings.

Step 6: Touch any “long-press action” or “Double-tap action” (We select Recent button) and choose Open/Close split screen.

Step 7: Open the recent apps and “Long press the recent button” to set the app as the split-screen mode.

Step 8: Select another app.

You can use the two apps same as above mention in the first method.
