Here’s how to enable and use air gesture on Huawei P40 Pro, P40 Pro+, and P40. When enabling air gesture on Huawei P40 Pro+, it will allow you to control some phone functions without touching the screen. Air gestures include air scroll and grabshot gestures to quickly take a screenshot in your Huawei P40 Pro Plus devices. Also, apply this setting in your Huawei Mate 30 Pro/Mate 30, Huawei Mate 40/Mate 40 Pro, Huawei P30/P30 Pro, etc.
How to Enable Air Gestures on Huawei P40 Pro Plus/P40 Pro/P40
Step 1: Pull down the notification tray from the top and touch Settings gear icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and touch on Accessibility features.
Step 3: Touch on Shortcuts & gestures.
Step 4: Touch on Air gestures at the last.
Below given two air gestures are available in your Huawei devices.
Air scroll: Hold your palm out 20-40 cm from the screen, then flick your wrist down when the hand icon appears. Hold your hand 20-40 cm from the screen with your fingers pointing down, then flick your wrist up when the hand icon appears.
Grabshot: Hold your palm out in front of the screen, then make a fist to take a screenshot in your Huawei P40 Pro+ device.
Step 5: Toggle on Air scroll to use it.
Step 6: Toggle on Grabshot to capture a screenshot using air gesture.
