How to Use Dual Messenger on Samsung Galaxy A71

Here’s how to use dual messenger on Samsung Galaxy A71 5G, A71, A51, A50, A41, A40, etc. To use two accounts for your favorite messaging apps, you need to activate dual messenger on your Samsung One UI devices. Also, use separate contacts list to show in your second apps.

How to Activate Dual Messenger on Samsung Galaxy A71 5G

Step 1: Pull down the notification tray at the top with two fingers and touch the “Settings gear (Cog)” icon.

Step 2: Scroll down and touch the “Advanced features”.

Step 3: Scroll down at the end of the page and touch “Dual messenger”.

You can see a list of available apps the supported this dual app/clone app feature.

Note: Not all apps supported this dual messenger feature.

Step 4: Toggle on the “App (WhatsApp)” you want to use.

Step 5: Touch the “Install”.

Step 6: Touch on “Confirm”.

Step 7: Toggle on “Button” if you want to use separate contacts list in your device.

Step 8: Select the contacts from the list and click on “Done” at the bottom.

Step 9: Second copy of the WhatsApp installed message appears on the screen.

Step 10: Open the WhatsApp app and verify your number to use it.

You can use two WhatsApp account on your Samsung Galaxy device.

How to Deactivate Dual Messenger on Samsung One UI 3.1

Step 1: Pull down the notification tray with two fingers and touch on the “Settings gear (Cog)” icon.

Step 2: Scroll and touch on the “Advanced features”.

Step 3: Scroll down at the end of the page and touch on “Dual messenger”.

Step 4: Toggle off “App” you want to uninstall the second app.

Step 5: Touch on “Uninstall”.

You can see remove the second app from the app drawer in your device.
