How to Use Pixel 4a Gestures

Here’s how to turn on gestures in Google Pixel 4a 5G. You can use Pixel 4a gestures to quickly launch the Google Assistant, show notifications on the lock screen, open or switch camera mode, and more. Google Pixel 4a gestures include Active Edge, Swipe fingerprint for notifications, Quickly open the camera, Flip camera to selfie, System navigation, Prevent ringing, Power menu (Available in Stock Android 11 only), and more.

How to Turn on and Use Gestures in Google Pixel 4a 5G

Step 1: Pull down the notification panel twice from the top and click on the “Settings (Cog)” icon.

Step 2: Scroll down and touch on “System”.

Step 3: Touch on “Gestures”.

A list of below given Pixel 4a gestures are available.

Active Edge: To quickly talk to your Assistant, just squeeze the bottom half of your phone, then release. Also, access Assistant, even the screen is off.

Swipe fingerprint for notifications: Check notifications to swipe down on the fingerprint sensor on the back of your phone.

Quickly open camera: Press the power button twice to quickly open the camera even locked your phone.

Flip camera for selfie: To switch camera mode to selfie mode, double-twist when you’re open the Google camera app.
