Step 1: Open the “Phone app” on your device.

Step 2: Touch & hold the contact or unknown number you want to block and touch “Block contact”.

Now, you can’t receive SMS and calls from this phone number in your Huawei P40 Pro device.

Block Unwanted Calls and Messages in Huawei P40 Pro

Step 1: Open the “Phone app” on your device.  

Step 2: Touch on “Three vertical dots (More)” at the upper right corner.

Step 3: Select “Blocked”.

Step 4: Touch on “Call block rules”.  

Below given three options are available on your device.

Block all incoming calls: It will block all phone calls on your device. Trustlist numbers won’t be blocked.

Block unknown numbers: If you want to block unknown numbers, toggle on this option.

Block private/withheld numbers: Toggle on this to block unwanted spam calls.

Step 5: Toggle on one of the above-given options.

How to Manually Block a Number in Huawei P40 Pro+

Step 1: Open the “Phone app” on your device.  

Step 2: Touch on “Three vertical dots (More)” at the upper right corner.

Step 3: Select “Blocked”.

Step 4: Touch on the “Settings gear (Cog)” icon at the top right corner.

Step 5: Touch on “Blocklist” under the Blocklist/Trustlist section.

Step 6: Click on “+ Add”.

Step 7: Touch on “Add manually”.

Step 8: Enter the number you want to block and click on “OK”.

How to Unblock Number in Huawei P40 Pro

Step 1: Open the “Phone app” on your device.  

Step 2: Touch “Three vertical dots (More)” at the upper right corner.

Step 3: Select the “Blocked”.

Step 4: Touch on the “Settings gear (Cog)” icon at the top right corner.

Step 5: Touch on “Blocklist” under the Blocklist/Trustlist section.

Step 6: Long press on the number and touch on “Remove” at the bottom left.

Step 7: Click on “Remove”.

Now, this number will be removed from the blocklist.
