By default hidden or turn off developer mode on Huawei P40 Pro, P40 Pro+, and P40. You need to enable developer options on Huawei P40 Pro to use hidden features like memory, USB debugging, desktop backup password, running services, USB configuration, Window animation scale, transition animation scale, background process limit, and more.
How to Turn On/Turn Off Developer Mode on Huawei P40 Pro Plus/P40 Pro/P40
Step 1: Open the app drawer and touch on “Settings app”.
Step 2: Scroll down at the end and touch the “About phone”.
Step 3: Touch on “Build number 7 times” until view the screen lock.
Step 4: Enter the lock screen “PIN or Password”.
Step 5: “You are now a developer!” message appear on the screen.
Step 6: Touch the “Back” button.
Step 7: Touch “System & updates”.
Step 8: Click on “Developer options”.
Step 9: Make sure toggle on “Developer options”.
Step 10: Toggle on the button you want to use in your Huawei devices.

Step 1: Go to “Settings”.
Step 2: Scroll down and touch the “System & updates”.
Step 3: Touch the “Developer options”.
