How to Use Live Caption on OnePlus Nord 2

Here’s how to use live caption on OnePlus Nord 2? If you are unaware, it can automatically prescribe and display captions of any spoken audio playing on the OnePlus Nord 2 5G/OnePlus Nord CE 5G/OnePlus Nord. You can use this feature on videos, podcasts, audio messages. This feature also kicks in even if you are using Facebook or any other social media if you come across a video while scrolling. This feature is also enabled via notification shade. You can turn on or off profanity and show sound labels.

How to Use Live Caption on OnePlus Nord 2

Step 1: Swipe down the Notification drawer at the top and tap on the Settings icon.

Step 2: Touch on Sound & vibration.

Step 3: Touch on Live caption under the sound effects and node section.

Step 4: Turn on Live Captain.

Step 5: Now, tap on the YouTube or other app you want to watch a video or movie, and you can see Caption speech in the English language on the screen. Tap and hold the captions to move it’s the screen. Double-touch the caption to expand.

Note: Live caption option for calls isn’t able for calls with more than 1 other person.

Below given three options appear on your OnePlus Nord 2.

Hide profanity: Profanity will be replaced with an asterisk icon.

Show sound labels: It includes sounds such as laughter, applause, music.

Live Caption in volume control: You can turn them on or off the option if you want to quickly activate the live caption in your device using the volume key.

How to Customize the Caption Settings on OnePlus Nord 2 5G

Step 1: Unlock your device and go to the Settings application.

Step 2: Scroll down and select System.

Step 3: Press on Accessibility.

Step 4: Press on Caption preferences under the audio & on-screen text section.

Step 5: Press on Caption size and style.

Step 6: Press on Text size and select from Very small/Small/Default/Large/Very large.

Step 7: Press on Caption style and select from Set by app/White on black/Black on white/Yellow on black/Yellow on blue, or Custom.

How to Turn Off Live Captions on OnePlus Nord 2

Go to the Settings > Sound & vibration > Live caption > Turn off live caption.
