Here’s how to change the power key settings in OnePlus 8T. You can change the power button function using buttons & gestures settings. By default when you press & hold the power button, you can see automatically launch the Google Assistant. Also, double click the power button to quickly open the camera in your OnePlus. Step 1: Pull down the notification tray at the top and click on the “Settings gear (Cog)” icon.
Step 2: Scroll and touch on “Buttons & gestures”.
Step 3: Touch on “Press and hold the power button”.
Step 4: Select the function from “Power menu (Power off/Restart/Screenshot) or Voice assistant” (By default).
Step 5: Touch the “Back button”.
Step 6: Touch “Double click the power button”.
Step 7: Choose the “Camera or None”.

How to Quickly Access SOS in OnePlus 8T Using Power Button

Step 1: Go to “Settings”.
Step 2: Scroll and touch the “Security & lock screen”.
Step 3: Scroll again and touch on “Emergency rescue” under the personal security section.
