How to Enable and Use Gesture Navigation on Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

Here’s how to enable full-screen gestures on Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Note 20. By default set 3-button navigation gesture (Recent apps, home, and back) in your device. To customize navigation gestures on your Samsung Note 20 Ultra, go to the navigation bar option in display settings. When enabling fully gesture navigation, it will hide all buttons on the navigation bar and see only a horizontal line (Pill icon). You can select a navigation type, navigation button order, and enable block gestures with S Pen.

Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel at the top of the screen and tap the “Settings” gear icon.

Step 2: Click on “Display”.

Step 3: Scroll down up to end and tap on the “Navigation bar”.

Step 4: Select “Full-screen gestures” to activate full gesture navigation.

Now, hide the navigation bar buttons in your device.

Step 5: Tap on “More options”.

You can see the below-given settings.

Gesture hints: Show where to swipe up for full-screen gestures. You can also swipe left or right across the hints to switch between apps.

Show button to hide keyboard: This is only available in portrait mode.

Block gestures with S Pen: If you don’t want to use full-screen gestures with S Pen, toggle on it. It helps when drawing or writing near the edges of the screen.

How to Change the Navigation bar button order on Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

By default set recent apps (Left), home, and back (Right) button on the navigation bar. You can swipe the recent and back button on the navigation bar using below given settings.

Step 1: Open the app drawer and click on the “Settings app”.

Step 2: Scroll down and click on “Navigation bar”.

Step 3: Choose button order from recent apps (Left), home, and back (Right) or back (Left), home, and recent apps (Right).
