How to Set Up Fingerprint in OnePlus 8T

Here’s how to add a fingerprint to OnePlus 8T. You can set up a fingerprint sensor (In-display) to unlock your OnePlus 8T, and authorize purchases or sign in to apps. Press your finger on the fingerprint identification area (Bottom of the screen) to use the fingerprint and unlock your OnePlus. Easy to remove or add multiple fingerprints to your device. Also, use face unlock, PIN, Password, and another screen lock in your OnePlus 8T. PIN or Password is the safest and strongest lock screen method.

How to Add Fingerprint to OnePlus 8T

Step 1: Pull down the notification tray at the top and touch on the “Settings gear (Cog)” icon.

Step 2: Touch on “Security & lock screen”.

Step 3: Touch “Fingerprint” unlock under the device security.

Step 4: Select the backup screen lock from “Fingerprint+Pattern or Fingerprint+PIN or Fingerprint+Password”.

Step 5: Set the screen lock (We Choose Pattern lock) and click on the “Next” button.

Step 6: Draw the pattern again and click on “Confirm” at the bottom right.

Step 7: Choose from “Show all notification content or Show sensitive content only when unlocked or Don’t show a notification at all” and touch on Done.

Step 8: Click on “Next”.

Step 9: “Press and make your finger cover the fingerprint area as much as possible, then lift after you feel a vibration”.

Step 10: “Fingerprint added” display on the screen when complete.

Step 11: Click on “Add another” to add more fingerprints or “Done” to finish.

You can see fingerprint 1 added to your list.
